We are Seeking a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team in South Portland, ME. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Estimator who can play a crucial role in preparing hard bids for new projects as well as ensuring cost control measures are being met, while comprehending preconstruction schematic designs.

Responsibilities
- Developing project schedules and timelines
- Analyze and review construction plans, documents and specs to build scope of work, costs and contracts
- Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications.
- Work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
- Conduct quality take-offs from drawings.
- Prepare proposals.
- Prepare preliminary construction budgets.
- Prepare bid packages.
- Review plans and issue RFIs.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
- Previous commercial construction and full time estimating experience on projects $20 million and higher needed
- Strong computer skills (Sage preferred, Revit a plus)
